Youth Ministry
Chris Jeong grew up in Miami in a multi-ethnic family: his father is Chinese and his mother is Dominican. He is the youngest of three children. After high school, he attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, where he met his now wife of 10 years, Rosa.
They have two amazing children. Chris did not hear the gospel of Jesus Christ until he was 18 years old. His life was transformed when he understood the debt that Jesus paid. He now lives with a passion and determination to see young people come to know Jesus and live a life for His glory.

Kids Ministry
Sally Deroo grew up in the small town of LaBelle, about 2 hours northwest of Miami. She began walking with Jesus as a college student at Georgia Southern University where God surprisingly led her to follow Him to China!
For twelve years, she taught English and supervised teams of teachers in China, where she met her husband Matt. In 2013 they moved to Michigan with their two daughters, while Matt worked to get his Ph.D. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education.
In 2018 they moved to Miami for Matt to take a job as an assistant professor at the University of Miami. They began attending Crossbridge Pinecrest in the spring of 2019, and soon after, Sally became the Children's Ministry Director.
She is thrilled to be able to use her passion for teaching the Word of God to the Bridgekids and to encourage Crossbridge families to know Jesus more!
